How many heart fragments make an upgrade?
Four Brave Heart Fragments form one maximum-health upgrade; four Wise Heart Fragments form one maximum-magic upgrade. The two kinds are counted separately. The atlas locates 24 of each kind, enough for six upgrades of each type. See all fragment rooms and map links.
What should I try at a blocked route?
Identify the obstacle before choosing an action. The Smash tutorial describes golden cracks and an airborne Down + Jump input; Holy Light applies to Chaos Shards. Barricaded-door pins state which side holds the obstruction. Approach that side and destroy the barricade to trigger the door; each pin includes the side-specific steps. Clues may describe a puzzle in a different room from the place where you receive them. Read the mechanism guide · clue illustrations
Can I use the atlas without interactive controls?
Yes. Each region has a text index of locations, rooms, rewards and connections. Item and guide pages also work without the map controls. Exact point links open the relevant region with the marker selected. Region entrances, regular passages and elevators are linked by default; other relationships appear when you select a marker or room. Bosses and secrets are visible by default; use the visibility switch to hide them. Read the Paris Streets index.
