Notre-Dame organ puzzle: scores and the secret melody

Find the three score clues, play the ten-symbol secret melody, and open the hidden passage in the organ room.

Find the three ordinary scores

The Fugue, Sonata and Concerto clues belong to the cathedral’s organ puzzle. The map links below locate the actual score interactions, and their original game illustrations show the symbols. Read the score you are following rather than guessing from its title.

The ten-symbol melody below is an additional secret. It does not replace the three ordinary scores or establish that Death is unlocked immediately.

The three score sequences

Concerto: Gemini → Cancer → Virgo → Leo → Virgo → Leo → Gemini.

Fugue: Moon → Sun → Moon → Virgo → Leo.

Sonata: Sagittarius → Capricorn → Pisces → Aquarius → Capricorn → Sagittarius → Capricorn.

These inputs match the original score illustrations and the active organ’s keys. Each ordinary melody has its own successful-performance condition. This list does not imply a required order between the three scores; follow the corresponding score and current route.

Secret melody: the ten-symbol answer

In Great Organ Room, play: Moon → Libra → Scorpio → Aquarius → Capricorn → Virgo → Sun → Leo → Cancer → Aries.

Sound each marked key by stepping onto its trigger. Jump over keys you do not need so that moving between notes does not add an unwanted sound. This interaction does not require using Smash.

The stained-glass clue derives this order from the candles beneath the symbols. Follow the visible symbols in the numbered list below, then look for the opened passage.

What opens after the melody?

A successful performance opens the secret passage door in the lower-left part of the organ room and reveals its hidden area. Use the link below to highlight that area; the diamond labels the extent, not an exact entrance or a reward.

The same melody fulfils the condition for The Shadow’s Work of Mercy, “Complete the hidden puzzle in Notre Dame.” It is not a second boss reward. Use the marked passage after a successful performance.
