The yellow blocks need the overhead weight
For this Clock Tower puzzle, use the suspended weight to break the yellow blocks. You do not need to solve it by using the Smash ability you are still seeking. Locate the three beam switches before releasing the weight.
Turn all three beams vertical
Operate the switch left of the yellow blocks, the highest switch to the northeast, and the switch beside the long beam on the west. Rotate the beams to vertical. Then jump at the chain to trigger the weight’s fall.
Smash is a separate unlock after Talos
After defeating Talos, the Smash tutorial is in the Clock Tower room linked below. Its airborne input is Down + Jump. A longer fall produces the stronger impact needed by reinforced floors and Brauner’s special statue.
The room link locates the unlock tutorial. For the switch puzzle, follow the visible beams and weight in the game.
