100% completion: what counts and how to find missing progress

Check collection, exploration and completed interactions separately. Learn what contributes to overall completion and plan a focused return through each region.

What counts toward 100% completion?

Overall completion combines collected rewards, explored places and completed activities. Filling the visible map answers only the exploration part of that question. If a region still has missing progress, compare its item locations with the interactions you actually finished: a discovered room can still contain an unopened chest, an unclaimed reward or a passage you have not used.

The contributing activities include health and mana upgrades, attack and defense books, experience statues, items, absorbed Arcana and the four virtues. Room passages, transitions between regions, exploration areas, story interactions and fast travel also contribute. Treat these as several kinds of unfinished business; collecting another weapon cannot stand in for an unexplored branch or an unfinished trial.

Check one region in a useful order

Start with a region whose in-game completion display shows a shortfall. Open its atlas page and check one collectible category at a time. Match the room outline before following a marker, then inspect the actual chest, statue or book. Finding the room is a navigation step; carrying out the pickup or interaction is the step that settles that target.

Next revisit reward encounters and ability tutorials. A boss defeat and its reward-orb interaction are separate actions, while exploration abilities may use a separate tutorial room. Then check nearby exits, region entrances and fast-travel locations. This order is a practical checking method, rather than a required story route: work through the omissions you can identify before travelling to another region.

Separate completion from collection achievements

The health and mana fragment directory covers 24 fragments of each kind. Four matching fragments make one maximum-stat upgrade, so a fragment and a completed upgrade describe different amounts of progress. The weapons directory covers 28 weapons across seven families. Use those dedicated lists for their own objectives instead of assuming that one finished collection means every other objective is finished too.

Arcana collection also has more than one question. Obtaining a card, claiming its power and completing its Works of Mercy are different actions. The achievement for all Blessings asks you to finish those card tasks and unlock the upgrades. When reviewing a missing achievement, read its own wording alongside the overall completion display so you pursue the objective that is actually incomplete.

Make a return trip with a concrete target

Before leaving a region, choose the next room and the action you intend to complete there. For a blocked floor, consult the Smash requirements; for a trial, check its equipped-spell condition; for a character reward, read the claim steps. An equipment change can solve a specific obstacle, but it does not automatically open every previously closed branch.

Overall progress combines the activities from all nine mapped regions; it is not the simple average of their displayed percentages. Use the game as the completion counter and the atlas as a location reference. After each productive visit, check the relevant regional display again. If that category is now settled, move to another identified omission rather than repeating a route simply because it is familiar.

Questions players ask

Why am I below 100% after uncovering the map?

Map discovery is only one part of completion. Check rewards, collectible interactions, trials, exits and fast travel as well. A room can be visible before everything inside it has been collected or completed. Start with the region that still shows a shortfall.

Does defeating a boss automatically claim its rewards?

Complete the reward interaction after the encounter. Also check the linked ability entry, because a new exploration action can require a separate tutorial. Treat the defeat, the reward claim and the tutorial as distinct things to verify when reviewing that part of your journey.

Can I average the regional percentages?

No. Overall completion combines the counted activities across regions, and regions contain different amounts of those activities. Use the global figure shown by the game. A small percentage gap in a large region and the same percentage gap elsewhere need not represent the same number of remaining targets.

Which directory should I open first?

Choose the directory that matches your missing objective: fragments for health and mana, weapons for equipment collection, clues for clue hunting, or the region map for unexplored exits and interactions. If you cannot identify a category yet, begin with one incomplete region and check its categories in order.
