Petrification by enemy and form
The table covers the listed ordinary enemy forms in their normal combat state, using game data rather than playthrough testing. Form numbers match the enemy pages; effects on bosses and invulnerable phases must be considered separately.

Freeze and bleed: choose the right finishing hit
The forms listed above accept the standard freeze and bleed effects when successfully applied. Frozen Shade’s name does not make it immune to freezing. For the freeze-break task, freeze a weakened enemy and defeat it with the hit that breaks the freeze.
Petrification removes freezing, so avoid petrifying your intended freeze-break target. For bleed kills, stop attacking once the enemy is weak enough and let bleeding finish it.
Binding, pulling and fall kills are different
The upgrade that prevents detained enemies from acting requires its Gift and excludes bosses. Minotaur and Werewolf resist pulling; that alone does not make them immune to binding. Frozen Shade has a separate version of the upgraded restraint effect.
For petrified fall kills, choose a susceptible airborne enemy such as a bat and let the fall deliver the defeat. Spittle Bone does not fall when petrified, so it is not a suitable target for this task. A weapon finishing blow does not count as a fall kill.
